INTEGRATED TERMINAL EXCHANGE INSIDE AND NEAR METRO MANILA, WILL REMAIN ENDPOINT OF PROVINCIAL PUBLIC UTILITY BUS (PUB)

Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) reminds again to those who want to travel out of Metro Manila to go to Integrated Terminal Exchange to ride the Provincial Public Utility Bus (PUB) to their respective provinces.Based on the released Memorandum Circular no. 2020-051, the following terminals will be used by Provincial PUBs to board and unload passengers:

  • Araneta Center Bus Terminal (NCR to Region III and vice versa)
  • Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITx, NCR to Region IV-A, IV-B, V, and vice versa)
  • Valenzuela Gateway Complex (VGC, NCR to Region III and vice versa)
  • North Luzon Express Terminal (NLET, NCR to Region I, II, CAR, and vice versa)
  • Santa Rosa Integrated Terminal (SRIT, NCR to Visayas, Mindanao, and vice versa)

Based on the released Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution no. 101 on 26th February 2021, all provincial PUB will ride and descend on Integrated Terminal Exchanges.Although private terminals within NCR can no longer ride and get off at private terminals like passengers used to, LTFRB ensures that the new terminals to go and from provincial PUBs are safe for passengers.Apart from that, the mentioned terminals strictly follow public health safety protocols like checking passengers before and after they ride the PUB and putting alcohol and hand sanitizer in different parts of the terminal.Strictly following the 7 Commandments to protect our health while inside public vehicles:

  1. Always wear face mask;
  2. No talking and talking on the phone;
  3. Not allowed to eat inside the car;
  4. Always maintain good and adequate ventilation in PUVs;
  5. Always perform disinfection;
  6. Passengers with COVID-19 symptoms are not allowed to ride in public transport; and
  7. Always follow proper physical distancing.

If you are still confused or don’t know how to go or leave the integrated terminal exchanges, don’t worry because some City PUB and Point-to-Point Bus are ready to serve passengers anywhere in Metro Manila.For those who want to travel to Norte, there are some places in Metro Manila that take passengers to NLET where those who go home to their respective provinces can ride:

  • Trinoma – P2P Terminal along Mindanao Ave.
  • SM North EDSA – Bay no. 2
  • Lawtong – Park N Ride (morning), Post Office (afternoon)
  • Monument-5th Ave cor. EDSA
  • Araneta Cubao Bus Station – Lane 1
  • PITx – Bay no. 7

Drivers and operators who violate the agency and IATF rules will be imposed with appropriate penalties, including suspension of the Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) or Provisional Authority (P.A.), confiscation of their Special Permit (SP), and payment of eligible fine.
